How Categories Work
Create & Organize
Add categories with a name, slug, color, and optional description. Nest them under parent categories to build multi-level topic trees — e.g. Sports → Football → Premier League.
Control Navigation
Choose which categories appear in your site's top navigation bar and in what order. Drag to reorder. Set hamburger menu positions for mobile separately.
Publish & Engage
Every category gets its own page with all its articles. Readers can follow categories and get push notifications when new content is published.
Category Features
Color-Coded Identity
Assign a hex color to each category. That color appears on article cards, category badges, and the category page header — giving each section a distinct visual identity.
Category Following
Readers can follow any category. When a new article is published in that category, followers receive an in-app notification and optional push alert — driving repeat traffic.
Unlimited Nesting
Create multi-level topic hierarchies. A parent category page automatically includes articles from all its child categories. Breadcrumbs guide readers through the structure.
Per-Category RSS
Every category has its own RSS feed at /category/slug?view=feed. Aggregate up to 50 articles including all child categories. Compatible with any RSS reader or feed aggregator.
Privacy Control
Set any category to Public, Registered Users Only, or Private. Restrict entire topic sections to paying subscribers or logged-in members only.
Drag-and-Drop Order
