Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: April 14, 2026
1. Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the NewsPro platform, including all services, tools, infrastructure, APIs, and any sites created and hosted through our platform (collectively, "the Service"). This AUP is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.
NewsPro is a professional publishing platform designed for news organizations, journalists, independent publishers, and content creators. Our infrastructure is shared across many customers. Misuse by any one customer affects the quality, security, and reputation of the Service for all users. These rules exist to protect everyone — including you.
By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination, depending on severity.

- Build applications on our API that themselves facilitate AUP violations
- Exceed published rate limits in a way that degrades service for other users
5. AI-Generated Content
NewsPro provides AI writing tools powered by third-party large language model (LLM) providers. When using AI-generated content, you must:
- Review for accuracy — AI models can produce factually incorrect or outdated information ("hallucinations"). You are responsible for verifying facts before publishing.
- Comply with AI provider terms — Content generated by OpenAI, Google Gemini, xAI (Grok), Anthropic (Claude), or other providers is subject to those providers' usage policies. You must not use AI tools to generate content that violates those policies.
- Not generate prohibited content — Using AI to generate any content prohibited by Section 3 of this AUP (illegal content, CSAM, incitement, fraud, etc.) is a serious violation.
- Maintain editorial responsibility — AI-generated articles published on your site are your content. You are the publisher of record and bear full legal and editorial responsibility for that content.
- Not use AI to circumvent copyright — Using AI tools to reproduce substantial portions of third-party copyrighted works without authorization violates copyright law and this AUP.
6. Social Media Auto-Posting
NewsPro's automated social media posting features allow you to publish content to connected accounts. You must:
- Only connect social media accounts you own or are authorized to post to
- Comply with the terms of service of each social media platform (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, Telegram, etc.)
- Not use automated posting to artificially amplify content, generate fake engagement, or engage in coordinated inauthentic behavior
- Not post content that violates the content rules of the destination platform
7. Monetization and Payment Rules
If you use NewsPro's subscription, paywall, or ad management features:
- You must maintain an honest, accurate description of what subscribers receive in exchange for payment
- You must honor stated refund policies to your own subscribers
- You must not use the subscription or ad system to facilitate fraudulent transactions, money laundering, or payment card fraud
- You must comply with all applicable consumer protection, advertising standards, and financial services laws in your jurisdiction
- Ad content must be clearly labeled as advertising and must not contain deceptive or illegal promotional material
- You may not sell subscriptions to content that violates Section 3 of this AUP
8. User Data and Privacy
When you collect personal data from your site's visitors and subscribers, you are the data controller. You must:
